Over the coarse of this week we will show you a basic 1 step upgrade to your basic kayak
This weekend a customer asked about some equipment and prices etc as we are a kayak angling shop we told the nice gentlemen what he wanted to know
The cost of the equipment was talked about ,Its uses were also talked about , The customer was pretty sure on the type of equipment he wanted to make his kayak a real angling kayak
The boat in question was a Ocean Kayak Trident 13, a great kayak that offers a sea worthy kayak and most of the luxury , A good alround fishing kayak that has many followers
you can buy one here " but that,s not what this is about "

FITTING
Yes fitting or pimping is what this is about!
The customer was asking about fitting
We talked prices and talked fitting etc
And agreed the best way forward would be a stainless Trolley and the anchor gear , A Fishfinder with downnside image And a battery plus charger
This is a classic step toward the best fishing kayak
The Kayak Fishing Shack would do the fitting of the gear
Over this week we will show you how !
The kayak was collected and the money for work and gear paid Day 1
Day 2 The electronics were ordered and the kayak would be started
Quick Release Anchor Set Up
The stainless trolley comes complete to go on ,It has the option of screws or nuts an bolts depending on access
It comes with clips or bungee so you can chose the way you want it on
these were the left over options from what we used
this is the anchor system
screw or bolt the pad eyes front and back
find a nice place for the cleat
the ring of anchor
its beat to have it running with the lines of the kayak
the QR anchor system
set normal
set for hauling in
QR fastened
pull this and bye bye anchor
It floats real well on grass but you must attach the buoy or you will loose the lot
over the next few days as the electronics arrive we will fit the battery and fishfinder etc
there are many ways too anchor and fit the gear these are just some we use we love to know how you do yours too
