Hello everyone just got my first rod and reel

Hello all i have just been bought my first rod and reel set-up. A Rovex Integra Gold with a Shakespeare Mach 2 XT 040 rear drag with 15lb line and have decided to do a bit of fishing of the coast of bridlington and flamborough but what i am after is a bit of info on the type of fish i would be able to catch  and the best set-ups for my rod and reel, as i have never done any fishing before. Kayak wise i am already set up with numerous boots and can quite happily Eskimo roll a sit-in or sot (as long as thigh braces are on) and my current boats are as follows.







The blue one is a Dagger Axis which i use for rock-hopping and general fun and i wont need to explain the pink one, this is my other half's i have also just purchased this Ocean kayak








Any info would be greatly appreciated i have been told it would be ideal for bass and mackerel

the pics did not load up ,,,the macky fishing is easy when the waters clear ...and some of the best bass fishing there is is at flamborough too

Yes purchased the boat from the shack at the end of last year my girlfriend loves it.
So mackerel and bass will be my best bet around Flamborough are mackerel a summer fish, what about bass as well what sort of setup would be best for catching both I roughly know mackerel can be caught on a feather rig how many feathers on a rig should I have with my small rod also I understand for bass I will be best off with poppers and shallow divers but which colour and size would I be best of using for Flamborough and my rod size

each plug has a better day than others ,,,we know for sure that the silvery glittery yo-zuri lures work well ,,the snowbees are great for the money too,, its best to have a few ,,,the poppers are good once ya have found them with the other types
