Hi all just wanted to share a few pictures of my fatyak kaafu i got it second hand of a forum member he had already do a lot with the kayak and it looked good as it was but i just wanted a bit more storage space as the fatyaks do lack on this front so i had a good look about on the forums and you tube to see just what i could do to put my mark on this fatyak so first up was sorting a box for the back end it was hard to find one that would fit in the back well so out came the hacksaw and tie wraps to take the corners off its a nice snug fit now
next up was to add a old tool belt pouch to the front of the back box to allow easy access to small tools when fishing not sure if this is going to work or not yet but will give it a go and see
then after seeing a stream lined anchor trolley on a fatyak i wanted to try this on my yak so it was of to the kayakfishing shack for some bits and info on how it could be done
afew holes and screws later and this was the result a nice strait lined anchor trolley
then it was on to the hatch that was already cut out for me so all i had to do was fit a gorilla tub for the fish finder battery and a few other bits in just a few cuts and a bit of hot water and it was in
the yak had a few on deck storage options already on it but i could not help myself adding a few more
i think that will do it now or i will be sinking lol
hear is a few pics of it with the tubs on tool retainer reels all ready to get out on it now
thanks for looking
